Prof. Dr. Mirjana Pejić Bach actively researches the strategic application of information technology in business, simulation modeling, data mining, business analytics, multivariate statistics, and structural equation modeling. In her scientific work, she pays particular attention to studying competitiveness from the perspective of digital transformation and information systems, analyzing the role of digital technologies, data infrastructure, and artificial intelligence as key factors of modern business competitiveness. She has published several dozen scientific papers in high-ranking international journals, and according to Scopus data, she is among the top 2% most cited researchers worldwide. She actively participates as a project leader and collaborator in national and international projects, often emphasizing an interdisciplinary approach to research on competitiveness and the digital economy.
